Applesauce makes this zucchini bread sweeter and more moist than most, while the extra zucchini in the recipe adds more flavor. I chose to add chocolate chips because..well, why not?!
Mix your wet ingredients in a bowl before combining with the dry ingredients to avoid over mixing which leads to a dense, chewy texture. As always, you can make this gluten free by using a gluten free flour and it's already dairy free!
